"10/11th March, I watched a mixed flock of Redwings & Fieldfares in a field at Comforts Farm, Pallance Road.
There were about 100!! - possibly off to Scandinavia?
Two pairs of Buzzards seen regularly over Ruffins Copse.
On Sat. 6th March, I followed a Barn Owl in the car at Thorness. It was being worried by a rook, and disappeared near the barns of the farm situated on the lane leading to Haven Holiday Park.
(I have set up a feeding station for Red Squirrels in my garden, and now have up to 5 in the garden at one time, fascinating!!)
I have twice seen a Rook opening one of the squirrel feeders, and helping itself to the peanuts."
